Muaitheabhal Community Wind Farm Trust was formally launched in April 2013 to distribute the ‘community benefit fund’ available from the Beinn Mhor Wind Farm. Priority areas which will benefit from the fund are Pairc, Kinloch and the villages along Loch Seaforth in North Harris.

Applicants to the fund must meet at least one of the Trust’s charitable purposes and demonstrate meeting our funding priorities, these can be found in our Eligibility Criteria.

The fund is open all year round, with no deadline dates and has a limited budget every year.

The next Trustees Board Meeting is due to take place on Thursday 15th August 2024. We ask that all enquiries and applications are submitted at least a week prior to this. The deadline for this month's submissions is Thursday 8th August at 12pm.
